Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Launched - Explained All Details, Spec, Features, Engine & More Details

Triumph has unveiled the Speed Triple 1200 RX. The new flagship streetfighter is said to be "the ultimate incarnation of the Speed Triple." It will be limited to just 1,200 units globally. The Speed Triple 1200 RX features a unique paint job called Triumph Performance Yellow and Granite, complemented by a few carbon fibre parts. The bike has clip-on handlebars that are positioned lower and further forward, while the footpegs have been raised and set further back for a more aggressive riding posture. The 1200 RX rides on Ohlins Smart EC3 semi-active suspension. It has an adjustable USD fork with an Ohlins SD EC electronic steering damper in the front and an adjustable mono-shock in the rear. Powering the Speed Triple 1200 RX is a 1,160cc inline 3-cylinder engine that delivers 180.5 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 127 Nm @ 8,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a quickshifter. Just like the engine, the 1200 RX also borrows its electronics suite from the 1200 RS. It has cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, cruise control, and five riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, Track and Rider.
