Jagathi Sreekumar fails to return the money and is threatened with dire consequences on the eve of the marriage of his elder daughter Lakshmi Rai. Mammootty halts the wedding; this leads to Jagathi losing his mind and finally surrendering his life. The story takes a different twist when Jagathi's daughters are taken under the protection of Jayan, another cunning blade mafia don. Jayan had always defeated Mammootty during their childhood days by cheating. In the meantime, Jayasurya, an associate of Jayan, joins Mammootty. The latter portion of the story presents the change of the cruel hero into a soft-hearted person with a sentimental end!
