Being a plus-sized woman in Korea is an experience on it's own. Coming from a country that shouts "BODY CONFIDENCE NO MATTER THE SIZE" to a country that portarys beauty as "white and skinny is right and #winning" can be a shock for anyone that doesn't fit into that standard of beauty. This is my experience, perceptions, and advice for anyone that may feel apprehensive about traveling to Korea because of their size.
