Life after lockdown continues in Normandy. Today I visited Sword beach. 1 of 5 D-Day beaches in Normandy. This beach along with Gold Beach was given to the British forces to invade. What many people don't know is that the night before the D-Day invasion, teams of paratroopers where dropped deep behind enemy lines all over Normandy. One key place was Pegasus bridge and Cafe Gondre which we will visit on this vlog. Pegasus bridge was vital for the allies to take over. I also stopped by the Merville battery which is nearby, it consists of a series of bunkers which the Nazi army used during wwii. The grand bunker museums also makes an appearence on this vlog, I must say it is a unique museum. Join me as we learn about wwii in a fun way.
