Rep. Rashida Tlaib censured by House over Israel-Hamas comments
BREAKING: The House voted 234-188 to censure Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib for “promoting false narratives” about the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and for her use of the phrase "from the river to the sea," which is considered by some as a call for ending Israel's existence.
To date, only three House members have been censured in the 21st century, according to the office of the House historian.
After the results of the vote were announced, Tlaib and a group of colleagues held hands on the House floor.
