SADC condemned Zimbabwe's 2023 elections but did not deny Zanu legitimacy. ANC played role in that!
ANC knew that Zanu PF was rigging elections to stay in power and turned a blind eye to it for ANC’s own selfish political reasons. Whilst SADC election observers condemned the 2023 Zimbabwe elections as flawed and illegal, the regional body did not deny Mnangagwa and company political legitimacy.
Whilst many African leaders did not attend Mnangagwa’s inauguration President Ramaphosa and a high powered ANC delegation did.
One of these fine days, the world will know the role ANC has played in undermining democracy and good governance in Zimbabwe for the purpose of propping the Zanu PF dictatorship. The ordinary Zimbabweans have paid dearly for this betrayal.
