72nd London Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree Lighting 2019 - Norway's Gift to London (Full Video)

The 72nd Christmas Tree lighting ceremony took place on the 5th of December 2019 at London's famous Trafalgar Square, right outside the National Gallery.

The yearly event, which dates back to 1947, started as a sign of gratitude to Britain from the people of Norway for their support to them during the second World War.

Every year, the city of Oslo sends a 'token of gratitude' in form of a Norway Spruce Tree to the City of London, which is then lit up after an official ceremony to mark its arrival.
