Could wooden turbines complement traditional construction techniques? | FT Energy Source

The world’s wind turbines are growing. The latest designs have blades longer than football pitches supported by towers rising more than 100 metres into the air. But as the FT’s Myles McCormick reports, this is raising concerns about their environmental footprint. There’s also the growing problem of their supply chain infrastructure becoming outdated. Could modular, wooden turbines help address those challenges?
