Never Before Seen #GoPro Left in a Cat. 5 Hurricane #HurricaneMichael

UPDATES for comments after upload at bottom of description.

It has been 3 Years and Our Whole Town has PTSD.
If you are on Facebook or Nextdoor App during a Rain Storm or Jets going by, there are questions and panic.
There will be those that think they can say things like, "you should have left".....
This was to be a LOW Category 3 Hurricane; we were all concerned about flooding.
We were all prepared... gas, water, batteries, nonperishables, extra dog food, extra medications, generators broken-in, tested out, windows boarded up, outside items stored away or strapped down, everything charged to 100%, floor fans ready.

What no one could predict, was a whole entire town being hit by hundreds of tornadoes (this is a meteorological fact)! I promise you, if the household could afford it, we all purchased Commercial Grade Chainsaws..........I am Proud to say that, like that of the "Cajun Navy", My Husband was a part of the "Chainsaw Army" that was Founded by the Kindness of Bay County Locals & Those who came from LITERALLY ALL OVER to Help!

Mexico Beach was totally wiped off the map. Tyndall Airforce Base (in Bay County) and Mexico Beach were hit head-on and destroyed (they had entire buildings floating down the roads).

I would LOVE to Thank Those Who Spent MONTHS Helping Us get the NORMAL Everyday Necessities Back...
Phone Service (we were all leaving notes on plywood, vehicles, house windows),
doctors offices (Our Hospitals were destroyed),
banks (no power, not safe to be on roads),
Ambulances (Volunteers All the way from WASHINGTON STATE!,
we had rescue vehicles evacuating our hospitals of patience in caravans of Ambulances, driving them 2 hours away to the closest available ERs).

It has been 3 years and we ourselves are still working on Home repairs.
Others evacuated and Never Came back.
While others lost homes and could never rebuild, so they moved away as well.

I could continue on, but there can only be so many words..... I will save the rest for the next video.

"Michael is the first hurricane to make landfall in the United States as a category 5 since Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and only the fourth on record. The others are the Labor Day Hurricane in 1935 and Hurricane Camille in 1969."

"Michael is the fourth most powerful storm on record to hit the U.S., and the worst since Hurricane Camille in 1969. It is also the first Category 5 hurricane to ever make landfall on the Florida Panhandle, and "the worst storm" that area has ever seen."

October is not 'EXACTLY' "the End of hurricane season"... yet, it is the 5TH Month of 6 in the Season.... Which make it the "End of Hurricane Season".
