Ultra small and bright 100 ANSI Smart Mini DLP LED Pico Projector by Ansee review
This is my review and unboxing of the Ansee HDP100S Smart Mini DLP LED Projector with Android, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, Quad Core, 100 ANSI Lumens, 854 x 480 Pixels, 1080P, WiFi, Bluetooth HDMI, Airplay, Eshare, and Miracast found at http://amzn.to/2y27tsb (newer version https://amzn.to/32yTiaA)
I have to say that I am highly impressed with this pico / pocket sized projector. For a projector that is around 6 inches by 3 inches, and only 100 lumens, it gives out a enormous amount of light and color. I was taken back by how bright the image actually was. I didn't have high expectations when I read that it was only 100 ANSI lumens, but as you see in the video, it seems like a lot more than it actually is. The important thing to take notice is that this projector actually states it's ANSI lumens, not just the standard lumens. The ANSi, or the American National Standards Institute is what most larger projectors use for their light measurements they report. The image was actually visible with the lights on. I do not recommend using it in the light, but it is visible. The colors really pop though, when the lights are off. This projector is ran by an Android operating system. This allows you to load any standard Android App that can run on KitKat. Even the Google Play store is included to download what you may need. You may not even need to download anything, because this little projector comes pre-loaded with all the necessities, including Netflix, YouTube, as well as an office suite for Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents to be loaded into the projector without the need of an external computer. But if you wanted to use a computer, you have that ability too. The projector has built in WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connections.
With how impressed I am with this projector, I did have some issues using AirPlay to connect my laptop to the projector wirelessly. It did work. The audio sounded great, but the video was choppy. I later discovered that this was due to me using a 2.4 GHz WiFi. It worked a lot better on the 5 GHz band.
