Range Test: CAA Micro RONI SBR vs Fab Defense KPOS Scout SBR
You can support this channel here: http://amzn.to/2eyc1ya
Today on the range we take a look the KPOS Scout from FAB Defense and the Micro RONI from CAA. Both are available from ZFI Inc and YRS Inc. Be sure to check back on those sites because as an added bonus for being a registered user you will receive a 10% (at the time this video was published).
Both of these are a great options if you are looking to convert your SBR’d pistol to a carbine. In this case, I am using my SBR’d Glock 1.
This is a simple video…2 31-round magazine thru each carbine, comparing the targets and then a recap to discus things like recoil in addition to pros and cons of each device.
Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe. If there's something you'd like to see, let me know. If I can make it happen I will.
Note: I did submit for and received my ATF SBR Tax Stamp for this firearm given that its barrel length is less than 16" and it values under a NFA classification. Please note that until you have received this stamp approved by the ATF, you should not place your pistol into the Micro Roni SBR conversion kit. I am not a lawyer so I would defer you to check with local and state laws to ensure you can own this weapon.
To sum it up, I wanted to make my Glock 17 into a SBR and the Micro Roni and the KPOS Scout allowed me to do just that. Both of these carbines performed on the range. In short, if you are looking for a slim, low profile carbine, the KPOS Scout is likely the one you’ll prefer. If you want something a little more robust (but still light weight), then you’ll likely prefer the Micro RONI. And if you can’t make up your mind, get both as either is a solid choice for your SBR’d pistol
