‘All by stealth’: Albanese government places new carbon price with states

Sky News host Peta Credlin says the Centre for Independent Studies has exposed a new carbon price “more than double” the cost of the Gillard-era carbon tax.

“Tony Abbott elected in a landslide in 2013 promising to repeal Julia Gillard’s dreaded carbon tax and of course he did,” Ms Credlin said.

“Only now rather than tell you they have put one back in, the Albanese government has joined with the states and done it all by stealth.”
