1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500 WOT 0-60

As the title says. Still a silky smooth engine even with 170k.

The Mercedes M113 V8 was not appreciated when it came out due to it being SOHC vs the DOHC engine it replaced + it being the era where a lot of cost cutting was in their portfolios. Fast forward to today, it is one of their most reliable engines ( including the M112 V6 ). It’s one of the few european V8s that make it past 150k-200k with little fuss besides normal maintenance.
