Wildlife Haven: Iberá Wetlands, Argentina

Follow along as we explore Esteros del Iberá in northeastern Argentina, the world's second largest wetlands. By motorboat and kayak, we maneuver through an interconnected maze of shallow lakes, narrow creeks, flowering marshes and backwater channels. Wildlife is everywhere. And in between excursions, we rest at the luxurious Rancho de los Esteros. We also hike the various trails of the reserve which take us through palm forests and grasslands. We watch capybaras and black caimans sunbathing side by side, and marsh deer moving through the reeds. We even discover a Geoffroy's cat and a yellow anaconda. Amazing!
