Flying My DJI Neo at Home – My First Baby Step

Today, I took my very first step into the world of drones by flying my DJI Neo right in the comfort of my home area. It was a simple, humble flight — nothing too flashy — but for me, it was a big moment. I started by checking the battery, calibrating the compass, and making sure the area was safe and clear of obstacles.

Once ready, I slowly lifted the drone into the air, keeping it low and steady. I practiced hovering, gentle turns, and short movements — just getting a feel for the controls and how the drone responds. There were a few wobbles, and my heart definitely raced a bit, but it felt great to be in control.

This small flight may seem basic to others, but for me, it marks the beginning of a new journey. It’s my baby step toward learning more, flying further, and capturing amazing moments from the sky. Looking forward to what comes next.
