BEWARE OF BULLY STICKS // Fractured Carnassial (premolar) Tooth on Dog

Beware of bully sticks! I always thought they were safe until this accident. I thought they were safe enough since they soften when chewed. I thought Milton was a gentle chewer. But accidents happen and unfortunately Milton broke her carnassial premolar (3 rooted) tooth :( Can you believe it's the exact same one Herky broke a few years ago?

Please be careful with your dogs and avoid ALL hard chews. If it's too hard for you to dent with your nail, it's too hard for them. Even if you have a big dog, fractures can happen. Bigger dogs might have stronger jaws but their teeth are all made from the same element. PLEASE help other dogs by spreading the word about this.
