Canon from Nusantara - Riyandi Kusuma (Piano)

I made this canon based on Pachelbel’s Canon and Indonesian Traditional instruments. I use pentatonic scale to write this piece. In the middle section, you will hear an Indonesian Folk Song from West Java, Bubuy Bulan. After that I made an improvisation based on gamelan from Bali. And in the last section, I made my own melody based on melody from Java. When I made this melody, I can really imagine peace in Indonesia. Hope you guys enjoy this video!
