We’re Paul & Bea, and our journey has been anything but ordinary.

We left the Philippines in search of a better passport, thinking the U.S. was the answer. We spent 13 years in California waiting for a system that never had space for us. No residency, no green card—just endless roadblocks.

So we took a different path.

Spain became our fresh start. Not just for the passport (though that was a huge factor—Filipinos can become Spanish citizens in just 2 years!), but also for something we never thought would matter so much: healthcare. In the U.S., medical bills were terrifying. In Spain? We finally felt safe.

We had to go through every step of the immigration process—just like you will. From visas to residency permits, healthcare, and even citizenship, we figured it all out firsthand, of course 🎵 with a little help from our friends 🎶

Now, after 3 years in Spain, we’ve officially become Spanish citizens in record time—thanks to a system that actually works as long as you know how to maneuver it. And you know what? The journey feels like it’s just beginning.
