MMPA2024 | Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year Winner
The 2024 Michelmores Property Awards mark 21 years of celebrating the best property, development and construction projects in the South West.
Larkstone Watersports Hub won the award for Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year. The Hub provides essential purpose-built facilities for local watersports clubs alongside commercial facilities to boost tourism in a previously underused area of Ilfracombe. A café with a wraparound balcony offers stunning panoramic views of the harbour.
Constructed using robust, natural materials that will weather well over time in this exposed location, the buildings have been delivered on an challenging site and improvements made to the ramped access ensure that all levels of the site can be enjoyed by everyone.
