MK4 Astra GSI Project - Part 5 - Steering Rack Refurb

In this episode I refurb the steering rack. A thorough clean and paint up to make it look fresh and clean along with replacing the inner tie rod arms using a genuine TRW kits that Vauxhall used as original parts when they rolled of the production line. The TRW kits come complete with new bellows, clips, seals and grease which is everything you need to do a proper job. I haven't bought new track rod ends as of yet as I am still a long way from refitting the subframe back on the car so plenty of time to get them yet but I am thinking of buying the upgraded Meyle HD track rod ends.

I touch on the bodywork a little in this video too. The rear panel behind the bumper will need replaced but I will do this at later date when I can get it on the ramp so it is easier to work on. This will most likely be done at the end of the year / winter time
