Panasonic S5 IBIS - No More Gimbal?

Panasonic S5 + 24-105 F4 OIS = Dual I.S ...
Is this good enough to ditch gimbals entirely?

Overall i'm really happy with the results I was able to achieve with this rig. Please bear in mind that this was the FIRST TIME i've ever shot anything handheld, so what you're seeing is a complete beginner's results.

I'm sure that with more practice, I'll be able to get really nice shots with the Panasonic S5 and the Small Rig Cage System. The question is, does it replace gimbals and stabilisers?

The short answer for me is no. There's no way I'd feel comfortable shooting handheld video when walking or running and I'd definitely use a gimbal for those shots. HOWEVER, the IBIS in the Panasonic S5 coupled with the I.S in the 24-105 is without a doubt the best in camera stabilisation i've ever used, and allows for a completely different approach to filming.
