Starting CHEVY 250ci inline 6 (CAMARO MOTOR)

This is my engine from my 1977 Camaro it is an Inline 6 250ci 4.1l with the integrated head.
I just put all new gaskets and was having a problem at the timing cover and oil pan seal.
So I wanted to be safe and build some oil pressure to make sure it didnt leak before I put it back in the car. NO leaks!!!

I had a buddy over so we set her up and gave her some gas.
I was flooding the motor a little but I didnt have a way to deliver even fuel so it was the only way to let her run for more than just a second.

The fireball came because an exhaust valve opened with too much fuel left unburned in the engine. No big deal just cool to see in slow-mo.

The Camaro is parked down the hill from the motor and I have considered chain contraptions to drag it up to the motor but lining it up would be next to impossible even with a come along. So I have to wait until I have enough hands to push the car into place.

Soon I hope. I really miss my car.
