Ukraine War: Russians will 'double down with brute force'
Air Marshal Philip Osborn told Sophy Ridge the original Russian plan to attack Ukraine with a light invasion force had failed.
Moscow would now turn to brutalising cities to try and force the Ukrainian government to the negotiating table.
Air Marshal Osborn also said the West would now need to recalibrate its relations with Russia, and would need to be more "resolute" in how it deals with Moscow.
