Refurbishing a Vintage Drum Sander -Old Machinery Tip - Acetone
I'm using Acetone to clean the drums on this vintage Kuster Manufacturing Ultrasand 362 dual-drum thickness sander. I got this mid-80's dual drum sander that had been sitting in a barn for years from a friend of mine. I'm cleaning it up, oiling the chains, greasing the bearings, reworking the table and replacing the conveyor belt to make this a great running piece of machinery to use in my shop. I'll be trying to post more quick tips more often in between the bigger build videos.
