PM Narendra Modi attended Ashara Mubaraka, the commemoration of the death anniversary of Imam Husain, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The PM's attendance is being seen as part of his 'Sabka Saath' push.

In his address, PM Modi said Imam Hussain had raised his voice against injustice in the society and this is an important message for today's world. "We consider the world as one family, we believe in the tradition of taking everyone along. This strength of the Indian society and its legacy is what sets us apart from the rest of the world," the PM stated.
