The BMW 550i xDrive features the same 4.4L Twin turbo V8 found in the BMW M5 and M6...except it was equipped with AWD. This means it can really put the power down. It is also more luxury oriented, fitting the personality of a big luxury sedan like the 5 series has become. Is this a better option than the M5/M6? You can build up a 550i to be even more powerful than the M5...and it has AWD. I think this could be the best F10 5 series to buy!
