Hemp was once so popular in North Carolina, we had a town named after it. It was also the choice of many American presidents, in the early days, when they were all farmers.

But, for decades, it was verboten. Now, that it is - at least, temporarily - legal, a man who once ran to be the state's top law enforcement officer wants in, in a big way. See why.
