Exploring an Abandoned Mansion - Why is this Piano here?

I spotted a piano in a field and curiosity got the best of me! I have no idea why the piano is there or if it actually came out the mansion.

The mansion was built from 1874-1875 and occupied by generations of the same family until 1999. The solid structure was built of locally quarried limestone, making exterior walls that are 18 inches thick. When completed it had 10 rooms and the second floor featured numerous exterior balconies. Modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing, electric heat and other updates were added until the house was sold. The mansion is currently abandoned with no plans of renovation but is on the Nation Register of Historic Places.
