Please Teach Your Kids About Autism

Our daughter is autistic. She wears noise cancelling headphones. She vocal stims and sings. She does repetitive things. She gets excited about ice cream. She is a kid.

As she gets older, I am noticing more and more kids that literally stop and stare. I know it is innocent curiosity. I just hope parents are educating their kids when they ask, why is that girl wearing headphones? Why is she making noises like that? Why does she flap her hands? etc. etc. etc.
