Why I Do Nothing To Prepare for The Market's Open

In this week's trading tip, I explain why I teach my traders to do absolutely nothing to prepare for the market's open, and I explain why you shouldn't either.

Making trading decisions based on a bias or preconceived idea of what the market may do is the Achilles heel of all untrained novice traders. In truth, all pre-market preparation does is encourage the trader to formulate a bias before the open. This bias quite naturally will receive more loyalty from the trader than what is actually going on at the open. In other words, the bias becomes instantly in conflict with reality (the market) and the typical novice struggle begins: "Is the market right or is my bias right?" Naturally, we have been conditioned to want to be right, not wrong. The bias then puts us into the position of being reality's (the market's) enemy.

By doing away with all pre-market prep, the trader is free to just be a "witness" to what unfolds, to be completely open without prejudiced eyes. In a nutshell, This is what is called ego-less trading and it will lead to a purer, more powerful form of action.

La razon por la cual no hago nada para prepararme para la apertura

En el trading tip de esta semana, explico porque ense;o a mis traders a hacer absolutamente nada para prepararse para la apertura del mercado, tambien te explico porque no deberias hacerlo.

Tomar decisiones de trading en base a una opinion o idea preconsevida de que puee hacer el mercado es el talon de aquiles de todos los novatos no entrenados. En realidad, toda la preparacion antes de la apertura del mercado lo unico que hace es incentivar al trader a formular una opinion antes de la apertura. Esta opinion o inclinacion recibira naturalmente mas lealtad de parte del trader que lo que realmente esta sucediendo en la apertura. En otras palabras, la opinion entra en conflicto directo con la realidad * el mercado* y el novato tipico empieza a tener problemas: tiene la razon el mercado o mi opinion? naturalmente estamos condicionados para querer tener la razon y no estar equivocados y esto nos lleva a ser enemigos de la realidad o el mercado.

dejando atras todo analisis pre mercado el trader esta libre y puede ser testigo de lo que se va desarrollando, con la mente abierta sin prejuicios, a esto le llamamos trading sin ego y te llevara a un estado mas puro y poderoso de donde puedes tomar accion.
