The Best Dumplings in Shanghai! Amazing Xiao Long Bao 🤤 🥟 🇨🇳

When you go to Shanghai, xiaolongbao and its fried counterpart shengjianbao are a definite must-try. There are countless of dumpling restaurants scattered around the city that serve delicious soupy buns by the basket and crispy shengjianbao by the plate. We do the hard work and spend the day running around finding the best places to get your dumpling on. We hit up Jia Jia Tang Bao, home to arguably the best pork and crab xiaolongbao in Shanghai before trying an interesting combination of salted egg and pork xiaolongbao at Ling Long Fang. We check out the famous fried dumplings at Yang’s to taste their 3 different dumpling filling plate, we also visit Wan Shou Zhai, a very old school dumpling house that serves smaller xiaolongbao. If that wasn't all enough we finish up the night at the 24-hour hotspot Dong Tai Xiang for some late night juicy pork shengjianbao.
