Mohamedou Ould Slahi is the author of the internationally acclaimed memoir, Guantanamo Diary, that tells ths story of his unlawful inprisonment in Guantanamo Bay between 2002 and 2016 where he was tortured and placed in solitary confinment before being released without charges. He chose to #ReadALetter to a Political Prisoner.
