In my latest video breakdown, I wanted to take a deep dive into Dak Prescott's 2019 season to see how he performed and answer the big question facing the Dallas Cowboys: Is Dak worth the $35 million per year contract that he'll likely get when he re-signs this offseason. After reviewing over 300 plays to make this video, my answer is YES. While Dak hasn't put together a Patrick Mahomes-esque season, this is the going rate for a franchise quarterback in the NFL. At worst, Dak is a Top 12 quarterback and likely ranked 9 or 10 overall. You can win with that type of consistency even if you do have to surround him with talent. I think re-signing Dak is the smart decision by the Cowboys even if he is very expensive.
