Chicken Salad Chick Herndon Free Lunch For A Year Explained

If you live or work anywhere near Herndon Centre, you are about to see a lot of people lined up outside Chicken Salad Chick. The new location at 494 Elden Street opens Tuesday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m., and the first 100 guests in line are locking in free chicken salad for an entire year through the Chicken Salad Chick app. 

Here is how it breaks down. Guest number one gets a large Quick Chick every week. Guests two through one hundred get a free large Quick Chick every month. Everyone has to stay in line, download the app, and make a qualifying purchase when doors open for the reward to activate. That is the part a lot of people skip in the fine print. 

On top of that, there is an entire week of prizes. Tumblers during the opening and dinner rush, coolers for early guests on Wednesday, more tumblers Thursday, cutting boards and dish towels Friday, and tote bags for the first 100 qualifying guests on Saturday. This is the brand’s third Fairfax County store and part of a bigger expansion into Northern Virginia.
