The Home Birth of Adam Jay

The third child for this family and first boy, this mother decided that she would make the empowered decision to birth this baby at home. Her previous two births were beautiful, unmedicated, hospital births. This birth took a different turn than she expected when it was longer and more difficult than expected. A planned water birth turned into a birth on her daughter's bed. Adam came out with not one, but two hands by his face and it suddenly all made sense. This mom worked so hard and was able to roar her baby out in the comfort of her home. Their children got to meet the baby soon after and they were able to spend those first moments of Adam's life as a family.
