The Lucid Air has turned a lot of heads since its launch, the company’s new electric sedan boasts features that might even make other EV companies look in awe.

The Air features a 112 kW battery set and a DC fast-charging supply. Plugged into the supply, the car is said to be able to recoup 482 km of range in just 20 minutes.

The car boasts a built-in Wunderbox charger, it is the fastest charger in the electric vehicle industry. While other companies are still trying to offer half of the mileage the Lucid Air offers, it is astonishing to see how far ahead of the pack the company is.

This revolutionary technology for speed of charging is made possible by an ultra-high 900V+ electrical architecture, supported with a customized lithium-ion battery, Lucid Air has a highly sophisticated battery and thermal management system, helping in the vehicles amazing powertrain efficiency. The power-train efficiency plays a vital role in Lucid Air’s efficient charging rate, proving that the rate of mileage is distinct from the rate of energy flow.

The Lucid Air’s Wunderboard charging unit combines several separate functionalities into one efficient and integrated housing. This provides the Lucid Air full compatibility with public charging stations and has also included the 350 kW fast charging systems being built.
