पहलगाम आतंकी हमले में शहीद हुए लेफ्टिनेंट विनय नरवाल को श्रद्धांजलि देते समय उनकी पत्नी हिमांशी नरवाल का एक बयान सामने आया, जिसने सोशल मीडिया पर हलचल मचा दी। हिमांशी ने भावुक होकर कहा कि उनके पति नफरत और भेदभाव के खिलाफ थे और इंसानियत में विश्वास रखते थे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि नफरत फैलाने वालों को पहचानना जरूरी है, चाहे वो किसी भी धर्म या जाति से हों।उनके इस बयान को कुछ लोगों ने सराहा तो कुछ ने गलत संदर्भ में लेकर उन्हें ट्रोल करना शुरू कर दिया। कई ट्रोलर्स ने सोशल मीडिया पर उनके खिलाफ अपमानजनक भाषा का प्रयोग किया और उनके इरादों पर सवाल उठाए। वहीं, दूसरी ओर कई लोग हिमांशी के समर्थन में भी सामने आए और उन्हें 'साहसी' और 'सच बोलने वाली' महिला बताया।यह विवाद एक बार फिर यह सोचने पर मजबूर करता है कि जब कोई व्यक्ति अपने दर्द को साझा करता है और शांति व भाईचारे की बात करता है, तो उसे भी समाज के एक वर्ग की ट्रोलिंग का शिकार होना पड़ता है।
