Fast Friday- Sprints
Not doing athletic movements is one of the biggest mistakes made when working out. It is the easiest to lose as we age and hardest to get back. Strength is easy to get compared to athleticism.
One way to stay athletic is to add sprints into your program. Here you will see a falling start, pushup start, and 3 point start. The cone is set 30-40 feet out. Pick a start you want to work on then Sprint to the cone and back peddle 3-5 times and rest. Repeat that 3-5 times.
This is a quick way to get some sprints in at the gym and not take up too much time.
Also getting out to a track or a field and sprinting 50 meters to 100 meters for full recovery 5-10x is a good way to keep some speed.
