EZ IO Placement

How and where to place an EZ IO (intraosseous line) for vascular access. Presented by Jess Mason, MD.

To clarify what labs are and are not reliable, here is a list:
Reliable labs:
Type and screen, H/H, pH, Na, bicarb, BUN, Cr, Mg, phos, albumin

Mixed results, likely NOT reliable labs:
WBCs, Plts, K, lactate, PCO2, ionized Ca, alk phos, ALT
