Real-time APRS maps with an Android tablet

Learn how to set up real-time APRS mapping by by connecting your Kenwood TM-D710G to an Android tablet running APRSDroid. This will cover the basic configuration needed to get your tablet displaying APRS packet waypoints coming from your radio. This video covers the TM-D710G, but should work with the same settings for any of the Kenwood TM-D700/TM-D710 models as well.

You will need a way to connect you radio and your tablet together, in this video I use a USB programming cable by RT Systems that can be picked up here for about $30:
