"The idea of soaking prayer came to me one evening, during a time of ministering in France. We were staying in a small village, where Madame Guyon (1648-1717) had been incarcerated. Her works and life had been an inspiration to me for many years, so this was very dose to my heart.

As I stayed there, I began to consider our busy lives, Living pressed together in big cities and sprawling towns. My thoughts went out to all those who feel emotionally depleted, coming home day after day with their energies drained, carrying the cares of the world. People who were not able to spend time with God and enjoy peace as they wanted to.

And I thought, ‘I would love to create a CD that people could come home to - so they could lie down, relax and release the tension of the day white someone prays over them’.
So James and I went to the recording studio, and began praying from our hearts. No scripts, no rehearsals. Everything recorded is just as it was on that day.

We hope that in the listening, you’ll find comfort and rest in the presence of God."
