World Team Championship | INDIA vs AZERBAIJAN, UZBEKISTAN. India starts off in Pool B of the world team championship along with USA, Poland, Azerbaijan, Israel and Uzbekistan. Indian team comprises of Vidit Gujrathi, Nihal Sarin, S.L. Narayanan, Sethuraman, Sasikiran, Abhijeet Gupta. Four players will play with two reserves. Time control is 45 minutes each plus a 10 second increment on each move. Top four qualify to the knockout stage.

Pairings Day 2:
India vs Azerbaijan
India vs Uzbekistan
The Azerbaijan team is the top seed of Pool B and will be a tough challenge for team India. The Uzbekistan team is lacking their lead player, Abdusattorov and might be an easier target.
