A Horrifying Reality To My People In Somalia

Thank you, Jamal Osman, for rising a very interesting and concerning topic which have been now exposed internationally on British TV, Channel4News.

This is a topic that is close to my heart and is rising concerns worldwide. The rise of temperatures and the issue of global warming is causing world famine and a shortage of water, and this is particularly hitting the whole Africa and Somalia.

As Martin Luther King said, “I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits.” This is why I exist, to be the VOICE of the VOICELESS people.

I stood up for the presidential elections as I foresaw this coming. Now, UN and the International Community what are we going to do now? Is time to stand up and seriously react to this issue, put differences aside and come up with a solution by working together, sharing worldwide the wealth that Somalia has underneath of the its land.

Is it difficult for me to justify this situation where this country has got the biggest fishery on the planet, phenomenon oil and gas underneath their land, 2nd livestock on the planet after Australia, the 2nd most important maritime trait goes through the Somalia water, 30% of the energy of the planet goes through Somalia water and is very rich soil for food security on the planet and lastly, it has 365 days of the year sunshine along with the most beautiful beaches of the world.
