Moss Vineyards bottling day. We visited and helped bottle the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon .

My son and I stopped by Moss Vineyards in Nortonsville VA, in mid-June 2019, to help bottle some of their delicious wine. We were the second shift, since another son and daughter had been there earlier in the day to help out for a few hours. This is almost a pilgrimage for us, since participating in harvest here, 5 years ago, was how my wife and I decided that we wanted to move to the mountains and pursue our own farm, orchard, and cidery.
Barry and Ellen Moss have created an amazing winery. Breath taking views with amazing and award winning wines.
In these fields is where our dream began. It is also where our marriage began, since we got married here as well.

Break Heart Orchard is a small farm that we are carving out of previously forested land.
