Plasma Balls + Arduino Escape Room Puzzle
This video shows how an INA219 current sensor can be used together with an Arduino to detect whether a plasma ball is being touched or not and, as such, making it usable as an input device. To demonstrate, I'll create an escape room puzzle in which players must hold two, or more, plasma balls simultaneously in order to make a linear actuator extend, which provides a key, clue, or other component necessary for players to progress.
00:00 - 03:24 Introduction and demonstration of using INA219 to detect Plasma Ball touch
03:25 - 10:51 Demonstration of puzzle components
10:52 - 22:32 Wiring
22:33 - 41:41 Arduino Code
41:42 - 43:04 Wrapup
I demonstrate everything you need in the video itself, but if you'd like to download the Arduino code, wiring diagram, and additional resources, you can get them for this and all my other projects at my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/playfultech
