Black and Decker Jump Start Salvage

In this video we take a look at a old jump start with a failed battery. We could simply do as I did in the past and just replace the 12V Lead Acid battery with a new one and maybe get a few more year out of it with more corrosion of course! I decide on this one to order a 7600mah Lipo pack to put in that weighs less than 1 lb. It has tremendous power density and should turn over several cars without issue. its nice to be able to get the function of my portable air compressor, USB charger and light back as well as the emergency jump assistance. This Lipo pack should stay charged much longer without charging than the cheap lead acid batteries. We do of course have to make sure not to over discharge the Lipo as well as not leave it connected long at all once a vehicle starts up so we do not over charge it.
