Good evening, everyone. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Michelle. I grew up together with Lisa in Wakefield, and so we have been the closest of friends since childhood. We have seen each other through so much, life's highs and lows, and I am thrilled to be here tonight, standing by her side in this moment, certainly one of life's highest of highs.

I would like to start by thanking Jack and Patty, growing up we called them Mr. and Mrs. U, for hosting this gorgeous wedding and inviting us all to share in this wonderful day with Lisa and Matt. I would also like to personally thank them for giving me Lisa, who truly is the most caring, generous, and supportive friend a girl could ask for. With that said...my dear Lisa...

I must say I was honored when you asked me to speak tonight, but at the same time I felt a tremendous amount of pressure. This is because, as any of Lisa's friends can tell you, Lisa isn't just the type of friend who is always there for you, which she is, but more than that she goes above and beyond to make any given occasion special and unforgettable for a friend.

So I worried: how can I sum up two decades of friendship, how much Lisa means to me, how she met Matt and how special he makes her feel, include tidbits like their shared love of country music, and do all of this in a recommended 3-5 minutes? And, on top of that, how can I make it as special and memorable for her as she has always done for me? Well, I came up with this...
