AMAZING weekend in Cartagena Colombia! | Vlog #2 | Almost got hit by a boat

Omg you guys Cartagena, Colombia is HOT! Like if you’ve ever been to Miami, FL and thought that heat and humidity was bad... this was 1000x worse.

But fear not! The beach in Bocagrande, Baru and the Pool will keep you refreshed as you explore this gorgeous city. This was a perfect memorial
day weekend trip with our large group of 18 people. We got a little unlucky with the weather but it didn’t stop us from having fun.

Some tips:
-We did a Chiva Party bus- which I highly recommend.

-Bring your bargaining skills! Everything they sell on the streets or beach CAN BE TALKED DOWN. We paid no more than $20000 pesos for a jet ski ride... which is like less than $10 USD

- Be firm with your NO because they really don’t like to take no for an answer when selling you stuff

-Do the horse and carriage ride in the Walled City- Cuidad Amurallada. They have a strict law that prohibits no more than 4 people per carriage to protect the horses. This was a solid 30 minute ride and you got to see everything. This part of the city was the highlight of the trip as it is truly historical and beautiful.

-Baru was fun but it was super packed (almost getting hit by the boat!) We were a group of 12 people and paid $25000 pesos each which is less than $10 USD and included the private car there and back, fresh made lunch but nothing else. We paid extra for the tent and brought our own drinks. Pay the extra and go to the more exclusive island beach called Playa Bendita which I heard from my sister who went a week prior that it is quiet, not crowded and cleaner.
