The 3-Day E36 Auto-to-Manual Swap & M50 Manifold Install Challenge

So with the preparations completed and the parts collected it was time to begin.

I gave myself plenty of time but aimed to have the auto to manual swap and the M50 manifold install completed in 3 days - it took about 25 hours and she started on the 3rd night.

I had some serious stuck bolt trouble during the auto box removal, the slave cylinder took a while to bleed properly and the wiring instructions I'd got were all from the US.

After Natalie dragged out the dusty Haynes manual for a UK car -everything got soldered correctly and we were smiling. The wires I used were as follows :
Green Grey connected to Brown Black starts the car
Green white / Blue Yellow are the reverse wires. If you've taken a pigtail from a UK gearbox reverse switch the wire colours should be the same.
