What is the IABS? 🏡

IABS stands for Information About Brokerage Services and yeah, it sounds boring, but it actually matters.

It’s a form agents are required to give you that explains:
• Who the agent represents
• What a broker does
• The different types of representation

Basically, it tells you who’s working for who in the transaction.

⚠️ Most people ignore it, but this is how you know if someone is actually representing YOU or the seller.

In Texas, you’ll usually see this before you get into any serious conversation about a home.

It’s not a contract, you’re not signing anything, it’s just making sure you understand how everything works upfront.
